COME OUT AND WATCH DOGS SMALL IN SIZE BUT BIG IN HEART AND DRIVE FLY AROUND AN AGILITY COURSE LIKE GREASED LIGHTENING!

What is Teacup Agility?
Teacup Dogs Agility Association was created to encourage and provide an alternate competitive agility venue for small dogs that offers the same challenges on size appropriate equipment and courses.  TDAA is limited to dogs measuring no more than 17” tall at the withers and is open to all breeds, mixed and purebred.   Currently the TDAA registry boasts nearly 2,000 dogs representing 81 breeds.  Bud Houston, TDAA founder puts it best, "The point of TDAA is a simple matter of respect. The small dog is scarcely tolerated in the big agility organizations. Courses are scaled for the big dogs. Equipment is scaled for the big dogs. When Animal Planet “covers” an agility venue, the small dogs are typically chopped from the program in favor of the “real” dogs. Running a 6” Yorkshire Terrier on a course designed for a 24” tall Border Collie is just about as appropriate as running that same Border Collie on an Equestrian cross country course.  In TDAA the little dog will have his day."

We at Pup 'N Iron are proud to bring this worthy venue to the northern Virginia area.  We invite you to come play in our Toy Box!
